JUN 23 · TUE Manipulations

Reloads: Slide Lock

Reloads: Slide Lock

Dry-Fire · At Home

15 emergency reloads with verified-empty mags: gun high in your workspace, eyes on the world, hands working blind. End every rep back on a card with a clean break.

Live-Fire · At the Range

5 strings: 2 rds card A, slide locks (load mags two-and-two), reload, 2 rds card B at 7 yd. The reload isn't finished until the next shot is a hit.

Service Pistol

Mag pouches where they actually ride on your belt — index them without looking.

Concealed Carry

Reload from where your spare ACTUALLY lives. The pocket counts. Train the pocket.

Carbine

Bolt locks back: stripper-grip from the pouch, support-hand release, back on target.

Optional Standard

AUX (when ready): slide-lock reload to a hit under 3.0s.

Mind

Train the gun you carry, not the gun you wish you carried.

Your Daily Callout — By Archetype

The Initiator Yours

A fast reload that ends in a miss didn't happen. Hit first, then call it fast.

The Scout Yours

Eyes stay in the fight, not in the magwell. Feel the reload, watch the world.

The Guardian Yours

Empty gun, people behind you — this is a skill you owe them, not yourself.

The Strategist Yours

Stage your mags the same way every session. Setup consistency buys free speed.

Coach's Note

Core manipulation. Eyes-out, workspace-high — the reload pattern everything builds on.

Standards & Safety
The Four Rules — Every Rep, No Exceptions
  1. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded — always, no matter what you think you know.
  2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have decided to fire.
  4. Be sure of your target — and everything beyond it.

Dry-fire: no ammunition in the room. Verify the firearm is clear — twice. Use a safe backstop. When you finish, say it out loud: “Dry fire is over.”
