What exactly is Archetype Training Systems?

It's a daily firearms-proficiency training membership. Every day you get a structured drill — a dry-fire version you can run at home and a live-fire version for the range — built into a programmed system that develops real skill over time, not a random pile of videos.

What do I get with a membership?

A new dry-fire and live-fire drill every single day, coaching personalized to your archetype, the monthly Benchmark to measure progress, full access to the drill archive, tracks for service pistol, concealed carry, and carbine, printable targets and logs, and mental-conditioning work built into the program.

What's an "archetype," and do I have to take the quiz?

Your archetype is how you instinctively fight, decide, and move under pressure — one of four profiles. It's the lens the program uses to personalize your coaching. The assessment takes about five minutes, and we recommend it so the program fits you, but you can start training right away and take it whenever you like.

Do I need a range to do this?

A huge share of the work is dry-fire that you can do safely at home with no ammunition and no range — so you can build serious skill between range trips. Live-fire versions are provided for when you're at the range.

I'm a beginner — is this too advanced? What if I'm experienced?

The drills are scaled, so they work whether you're newer to defensive shooting or already proficient. That said, if you're brand new to firearms, get hands-on instruction from a certified instructor first — this program is built to sharpen and maintain skill, not to replace your first in-person lessons.

How much time does it take each day?

Most daily drills are designed to be done in a focused, manageable block — the point is consistency, not marathon sessions. Show up, run the work, and let the reps compound.

What weapons does it cover?

Service pistol, concealed carry, and carbine. Each day's drill includes variations so you can train the platform you carry or run.

What's the Benchmark?

It's a standardized course of fire you run once a month — the same test, every time. Because it never changes, your score becomes a hard, honest measure of how much you're actually improving over weeks and months.

How much does it cost? Is there a free trial?

Membership is $14.99/month or $149/year (two months free). Every membership starts with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime. See Join to get started.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel anytime from your account — billing stops and you keep access through the end of your paid period. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Is my information private?

Yes. We collect only what's needed to run your membership and we don't sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
