The Speed Your Eyes Allow

The Speed Your Eyes Allow

Dry-Fire · At Home

20 presses where the eye stays open and ON the sight through the break. Blinking is the tell. Watch the sight the way you'd watch a door.

Live-Fire · At the Range

6 strings of 5 at 7 yd: fire at the cadence where you SEE the sight lift and return every single shot. Speed is how fast you can see.

Service Pistol

Full-size tracks flattest — your cadence is quickest here. Find it.

Concealed Carry

The lighter gun lifts more. Accept the slower honest cadence.

Carbine

Drive the dot back to the X between shots at 25 yd. The carbine hides lazy follow-through.

Optional Standard

AUX (when ready): 5-rd strings in under 3 seconds, all rings.

Mind

Notice door hinges: doors open toward the hinges' side. Tiny knowledge, real speed.

Your Daily Callout — By Archetype

The Initiator Yours

You can already shoot fast. Prove you can SEE fast.

The Scout Yours

Pure observation — home turf. Track the sight like you track a room.

The Guardian Yours

Smooth cadence is control you can carry into the worst day.

The Strategist Yours

Don't chase a metronome number. The right cadence is what your eyes give you today.

Coach's Note

Layer: one string support-hand-only at your honest cadence.

Standards & Safety
The Four Rules — Every Rep, No Exceptions
  1. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded — always, no matter what you think you know.
  2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have decided to fire.
  4. Be sure of your target — and everything beyond it.

Dry-fire: no ammunition in the room. Verify the firearm is clear — twice. Use a safe backstop. When you finish, say it out loud: “Dry fire is over.”
