Everything Breaks Day

Everything Breaks Day

Dry-Fire · At Home

10 continuous reps: dummy “click” mid-string → tap-rack → continue → slide lock → reload → continue. One unbroken problem-solving evolution.

Live-Fire · At the Range

Mags loaded random 3–5 with one dummy each: 6 strings of “shoot to slide lock through whatever happens,” cards A→B→C at 7 yd.

Service Pistol

Gloves on for two strings if you wear them on shift.

Concealed Carry

Spare from the real carry spot, garment in play the whole time.

Carbine

Mixed bolt-lock and double-feed; start at 25 yd, finish at 10.

Optional Standard

AUX (when ready): full string with reload + malfunction in under 12s.

Mind

Hands check: are yours doing something useful right now, or just something fast?

Your Daily Callout — By Archetype

The Initiator Yours

Smooth IS the fast time. Believe the hits, not the clock.

The Scout Yours

Clear the gun at eye level and keep your world in view.

The Guardian Yours

Problems stacked on problems and you kept working. Remember the feeling.

The Strategist Yours

You cannot stage this perfectly. That's exactly why it's here.

Coach's Note

Layer: one string support-hand-biased (strong hand “occupied”).

Standards & Safety
The Four Rules — Every Rep, No Exceptions
  1. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded — always, no matter what you think you know.
  2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have decided to fire.
  4. Be sure of your target — and everything beyond it.

Dry-fire: no ammunition in the room. Verify the firearm is clear — twice. Use a safe backstop. When you finish, say it out loud: “Dry fire is over.”
